Employment

Kiwanis Garden Manor – the best of both worlds for our employees! Our employees are the heart and hands of our small, family-oriented community where we all take the time to get to know each other. Our forty senior residents need minimal assistance compared to other facilities, so we have a slower pace and regular rhythm. Also, we foster a comfortable and homelike atmosphere where we dine, socialize, and tell stories together; it truly is a home, not an institution.

At the same time, our employees receive all the benefits of working for a health authority even though we’re a small non-profit society. Our employees are eligible for union wages, premiums, and benefits as well as provincial incentive programs and a pension plan.
